Nail Biting Habits

Nail biting is a habit that is very bad and difficult to crack. You have to stop nail biting as soon as possible. You might think that it is too deeply ingrained in you, but there are some things you can try so you can watch your nails grow and grow long and be something that can be proud off.

1. Make it extra difficult. Place a bandage on your elbow so you'll have a hard time bending your arm to put your nails in your mouth.
2. Make it taste awful. Put some polish on your nails a clear and bitter taste.
3. Gift set. Buy your favorite book or treat yourself to a spa.
4. Keep yourself busy. In this way, you'll have your hands are too busy.
5. Beautify your nails. Make them look as spectacular as possible so you'll feel bad if you bite them.
6. Did someone tell you when you do it. Having a trusted friend to tell you that you will realize once you do it again.
7. Get to the root. What causes it? Does excessive stress or anxiety bogging you down and force you to nibble on your nails like popcorn? Deal correctly.
8. Think of the effect. Bleeding and ugly nails ripped a few of the few things that you do not want to own up to for the rest of your life.
9. Get a cup before and after shots of your nails. Post in a place where you can see it. This may sound funny, but it works.
10. Do one nail at a time. Make gradual changes to so that you will not find it too difficult.
11. Manipulating the shape of your nails. Push back the cuticles so that they will look elongated. Create a lovelier form using the nail file and make the colors stand out.
12. Biting on something else. Make a carrot or something healthy so that you get something fun and positive from it.
13. Wear gloves or keep them covered if you really can not help it.
14. Cut them down. Make them as short as possible. You will have nothing to bite.
15. Investment in your nails. Spend the money on your nails and you will not want to bite them.
